                                Who Is Can Assist ?                           

 

Can Assist is a grass roots, community based charity dedicated solely to supporting country NSW people affected by cancer and their families. Due to travel and accommodation expenses, it can easily cost a country family affected by cancer up to five times more than a city family just to access treatment. The reality is that many country mums and dads simply can’t afford treatment, let alone the weeks spent away from their family and work.

Since 1955 Can Assist's network of branches have grown to 51 throughout NSW. These branches raise vitals funds to provide direct support to their local communities affected by cancer. 

 

What does Can Assist do?

 

Provide financial assistance through our 51 local branches with expense like medical, pharmaceutical, travel and accommodation to help alleviate the financial burden of a cancer diagnosis.

Offer supported accommodation at Lilier Lodge in Wagga Wagga.

 

How Does Regency RamblersRod & Custom Club Help ? 

 

We will be holding a variety of fundraising events in conjunction with our "A Country Weekend Rod Run" Giving back directly to the community that has welcomed us with open arms.

Since the run commenced supporting CanAssist we have donated close to $20000 to them to enable them to continue the fantastic work that they do in the local area.. (@2018 run)
